Adolfas Urbšas (born Kirdonys, Rokiškis municipality, Lithuania 18 August 1900; died 19 May 1973) was an officer in the army of the Independent State of Lithuania and then the Red Army, rising eventually to the rank of Major General. ==Biography== Urbšas graduated from high school in Panevėžys in 1922. He joined the army and, between 1934 and 1940, rose to become Chief of Staff of the Lithuanian army.
